The Alexander Technique is learned through a series of half-hour to forty-five minute private lessons. With the hands-on guidance of the teacher, the pupil learns improved awareness of the body’s proper coordination through a number of simple body manipulations. These manipulations increase the pupil’s awareness of proper body coordination, a knowledge which can be transferred to daily activities. Problems are always addressed on an individual basis, providing the student with the necessary tools for improvement.
